Faithful by Stewart O’Nan and Stephen King is almost here!

Hi Folks!

The approval copies of the Gift Edition books and the Limited Edition books for Faithful by Stewart O’Nan and Stephen King will arrive at the office tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to the weather and the holiday, I won’t actually see them until Monday. But as long as everything looks good, the printer will begin boxing and packing the books to ship to the warehouse right away. The hand work for the Lettered Edition will take at least a few more weeks.

Faithful Gift EditionThe slipcase maker thought the cases would be done by Thanksgiving, but I haven’t seen an approval case yet to show the run is done. That said, they should be close enough that the Gift Edition will ship in December.

The traycase maker for the Limited Edition is looking at a December completion date, but due to the holiday schedule, it’s very likely they won’t ship until early January, so the Limited Edition will ship to collectors in January.

The Lettered Edition will be housed in a special deluxe case, each one made by hand for the actual hand-bound book it will hold, so those cases won’t get started until late December (when the case maker has the finished books to get the sizing perfect) and will take a few months to complete due to the intricate details that have to created by hand.

As a reminder, this special edition is being published to benefit The Haven Foundation and organizations that promote cancer care and research.  The Haven Foundation gives financial assistance to provide temporary support needed to safeguard and sustain the careers of established freelance artists. Stewart O’Nan and Stephen King also support cancer care and research organizations such as The Jimmy Fund in Boston, Massachusetts.
